International Workshop on Technologies and Financing for CBM/CMM Projects was successfully held in Yinchuan, a historical city of Ningxia, from June 19th to 20th 2008. Totally more than 60 delegates attended the workshop. Dr Huang shengchu, president of CCII, and Hu Yuhong, deputy director of National Center for International Exchange &Cooperation in Work Safety, presented at the workshop, delegates from coal mining groups from Datong, Yangquan, Lanhua Sci-Tech Venture, Jincheng, Lu’an, Hebi, Yima, Pingdingshan, Jiaozuo, Huainan, Huaibei, Shenyang, Ningxia, Songzao, Fushun, Hegang and Leping as well. Other attendees included those from home and abroad companies and organizations as Atlas Copco, Sandvik and Shengdong Group from Shandong Province. Dr Huang Shengchu, president of CCII, adressed on the opening ceremoney and gave a speech on Potential Projects of CBM/CMM Development in China.
Several topics were extensively and intensively discussed in the workshop, focusing on advanced technologies for CBM/CMM extraction and utilization currently existing home and abroad, CBM/CMM economic policies in China and international financing, project potential for CBM/CMM development and utilization in coal mine areas, status quo of domestic CMM and VAM development and so on. International cooperation in CBM/CMM development was further promoted through the workshop.
