On June 16^th, it was good weather for the crops. The National Institute of Occupational Safety (NIOS) was formerly set up and inauguration ceremony was held on that day. Wang Xianzheng, Administrator of State Administration of Work Safety (SAWS) and Fan Weitang, Chinaman of China National Coal Association (CNCA), unveiled the shingle for NIOS. On April 27th this year the Organization Office of the Central Government gave an approval that China Coal information Institute would be administered by SAWS, and an additional function of NISO will be attached. It was an important event of historical significance. The whole Institute was filled with joys. Zhao Tiechui, Deputy Administrator of SAWS, Fan Weitang, Chinaman of CNCA and Huang Shengchu, President of CCII made speeches one after the other. Leaders from relevant Departments or offices of SAWS, or organizations directly under SAWS, the large enterprises and organizations under China State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, fraternal organizations, UK Department of Industry and Trade, International Labor Organization and Canadian Embassy in China, distinguished guests and employees of CCII, in total more than 300 people, attended the inauguration ceremony. Huang Shengchu, President of CCII expressed that the leader group had confidence to guide the staff of CCII to obtain brilliant achievements.
