Director of State Administration of Coalmine Safety Zhao Tiechui met associate director of U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Mr. William and held talks on “2007 International Methane Marketalization Conference and Program Exhibition” as well as coalmine gas reduced emission and utilization.

Leaders and experts from State Administration of Work Safety, State Administration of Coalmine Safety, Office of The National Energy Leading Group, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Construction, China Urban Construction Design & Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences attended the talks.

On 22^nd, October, Director of State Administration of Coalmine Safety Zhao Tiechui met Associate director of U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Mr. William as well officials of U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and U.S Ministry of Foreign Affairs and hosted a welcome banquet. Leaders and experts from State Administration of Work Safety, State Administration of Coalmine Safety, Office of The National Energy Leading Group, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Construction, China Urban Construction Design & Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences attended the talks. President of China Coal Information Institute Huang Shengchu attended the talks and chaired the banquet.

Director Zhao Tiechui, when meeting Associate director of U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Mr. William, noted that State Administration of Coalmine Safety attaches great importance to the cooperation with U.S Environmental Protection Agency and would like to vigorously promote coal-seam gas industrialization and international collaboration. At the same time, the two parties reached consensus on the joint holding of 2007 Methane to Markets Partnership Expo and Member State Ministerial Cooperation Conference. President of China Coal Information Institute Huang Shengchu held talks with experts of U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Erin, etc on the preparation of the jointing holding of “2007 Methane to Markets Partnership Expo”. President of Energy Safety Division and vice director of CBMC Liu Wenge attended the meeting.
