Objectives
Work Safety is the
most challenge in the sustainable coal industry development
in China. The utilization of CMM is beneficial to abate the
serious situation. As a prime technology means to reduce
occupational accidents and diseases, the utilization of CMM
is given full attention in the developed countries where the
low death rates of occupational accidents result. China
should learn from them about feasible and effective
experiences.
To promote CMM development and utilization, intensify
international exchange and cooperation, and improve
occupational safety situation, the SACWS, USEPA and HONOSA
plan to hold "International Workshop on CMM Development and
Environment Protection¡± in the Hoi Tak Hotel, Urumuqi,
Xinjiang, China on August 30-31, 2007.

¡ï Ecological restoration
¡ï Promotion for enterprises to carry out strategies and measures to
intensify work safety training
Who should attend?
Policy-makers from the competent authorities, unionists and
employers, experts and scholars experienced in CBM/CMM, and
managers and trainers from institutions from home and
abroad, will be invited.

This workshop is an important event in the field of coal
mine safety in China this year. To achieve a greater
success, we sincerely invite you to support it in one way or
another (for example, support a part or parts of the
workshop: venue rent, material packages, lunch, banquet
and/or others). You will have the opportunities to put your
company¡¯s name and logo on the backboard of the workshop,
and have the special time arranged to make a presentation of
introducing your organization and business if you sign the
Support Agreement (further discussion is welcome, the
contact details is below). Your support will not only help
promote coal nine safety and environment protection, but

Registration
The registration fee is USD $ 300 for foreign participant,
including registration, materials, work meals (Two lunches
and a banquet), etc., without accommodation. The
participants are expected to fill the registration forms and
submit them via fax or email to the organizing committee by
August 10, 2007.
