The China Coal Information Institute announces the Call for Papers for the 4^th International China Coalbed Methane/Coal Mine Methane (CBM/CMM) Symposium to be held on 1-2 December, 2004 at Kunlun Hotel in Beijing, China.

This Symposium follows on the success previous three Sino-US International CBM/CMM symposiums held in 2000, 2001, and 2002. The conference series presents an excellent forum for discussion of a wide range of topics related to CBM/CMM development. Past conferences have attracted leading foreign companies and international organizations with interests in developing CBM/CMM projects in global markets, generally, and China more specifically. Participants from all parts of the world can play an important role in reducing methane emissions -- a strong potent greenhouse gas from coal mines.
