The International Workshop on Technologies and Financing for CBM/CMM Projects will be held from June 19-20, 2008 in Yichan, Ningxia, which is co-sponsored by the State Administration of Coal Mine Safety and US Environmental Protection Agency and organized by China Coal Information Institute.

1. Topics of the Workshop
 ◆ Underground gas drainage techniques
 ◆ Comparison and selection of options for utilization of CMM
 ◆ Methods for prediction emission and production of CMM
 ◆ Potentials for drainage and utilization of CMM and VAM
 ◆ International financing opportunities for CMM/CBM projects
 ◆ Policy framework for administration of CBM in China

The workshop will provide experts and delegates at home and abroad a platform for extensive and to-the-depth exchange and an international cooperative platform, and an opportunity for setting up international cooperative projects.

3. Fees
Workshop fee for each delegate is US$300, including registration fee, material fee, working lunches and reception. The accommodation expenses will be borne by the delegates.
